World Nature Conservation Day – Conserve the Beautiful Gift of God

The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it.

That is the reason, July 28 is observed as World Conservation Day every year worldwide. This event was started to conserve nature. We, human beings are no less than animals. Nature is a beautiful gift of God to us and we’re depleting it day by day. If you can’t clean your surroundings then don’t make it dirty too. In order to aware the people of globe, World population Day is celebrated on every 28th of July.
The world is facing so many natural disasters like earthquakes, tsunamis, droughts, etc. every now and then. Nature has its own unique way of balancing earth but the imbalance has been caused by increasing man-made activities, and these activities are increasing at an exponential rate. Nature should be conserved to ensure the well-being of both present and future generations.
“Conservation is a state of harmony between men and land”. Various organizations are working to conserve Mother Nature. Their aim is to provide a healthy environment as it is the foundation for a stable and productive society. It’s the duty of every person alive on this earth to participate in protecting, conserving, and sustainably managing all our natural resources because our existence without natural resources isn’t possible. The threat to the natural world is increasing day by day due to unsustainable practices.
“A true conservationist is a man who knows that the world isn’t given by his fathers but burrowed from his children”. If every individual starts to understand it then it is possible to conserve nature. The state of nature has an adverse impact on various things like:

  • Human survival,
  • Community life,
  • Economy,
  • Human health and wellbeing.

Every life form present on earth depends on natural resources (water, gas, air, soil, minerals, trees, animals, etc.) for its survival so the conservation of natural resources is crucial. The world was gifted to mankind along with nature but in this 21st century, people are more concerned with the Sensex rather than nature. It’s high time to understand what sustainability really means and also it is important to inculcate environment-friendly habits. The habits which should be adapted for nature conservation are as follows:

  • Efficient use of water,
  • By using 3R’s that is Reduce, Reuse and Recycle,
  • By avoiding use of plastic bags,
  • Wise and judicious use of resources,
  • By participating in environment awareness activities

On this day that is 28th July (celebrated as World Nature Conservation Day), let us all make a conscious effort for nature conservation. Both local and global efforts should be made to contribute to nature conservation as it is the concern of each and every person to protect nature and environment. The world can only be saved if every single individual becomes responsible towards conserving nature.
