The parade is presided over by The President of India and these parades are organized by the Ministry of Defence which come under the Government of India. The parade is the highlight of the day. Our extremely talented officers from our prestigious commands of Navy, Army, Air Force, Police, and Paramilitary Force organized magnificent parades. All states and union territories of India show their cultural heritage by presenting beautiful cultural programs. India is a multicultural land, each state and U\/T contains magnificent importance. The president of India hosted the National Flag at India Gate New Delhi. Republic day is celebrated in the entire state of India with great pride and honour. Delhi is the capital of India yet witnessed the grand celebration. Many honourable guests were invited from various countries on the day of Republic Day. But unfortunately, because of the new corona strain, the UK Prime Minister cancelled his visit to India for republic day. He was the guest of honour for republic day celebration.<\/p>\n<p>Today we are celebrating our freedom and republic day just because of the sacrifices of our honourable Freedom Fighters. We as Indians should be thankful to them, they are the only reason that we are free from the British Monarchy.
