It focuses on raising awareness about the importance of investing in youth skills development<\/em>, WYSD celebrations<\/em> coincide with an important year of setting the agenda for the future: a new climate agreement<\/em> and the adoption of the Sustainable Development goals<\/em> are just around the corner.<\/p>\n

World Youth Skills Day<\/strong> seeks to generate awareness<\/em> of, and discussion<\/em> on the importance of technical<\/em>, vocational education<\/em>, training,<\/em> and the development<\/em> of other skills<\/em> relevant to local<\/em> and global<\/em> economy<\/em>.
